Save the Dates!

Picture
Save the Dates are finished.  I used the template from Martha Stewart.com found here.  I got them printed and cut at Office Max.  Then I colored in Wisconsin in blue, we thought about doing it in red, our accent color, but then realized that we wouldn't want Wisconsin to be a "red state" so we went with blue.  Since we met working on a political campaign I liked the idea.  I then filled in the location and date information and signed our names.  I also added our website address near the bottom.  We wanted something simple and to the point, nothing to fancy.  We sent these out at about the 7 month mark!

Invitations

Picture
These are the picture of the invitations we are going to make.  Instead of the red pocket envelope we got black.  Our colors are black and white.  We also won't have the little black jewel things, and we'll be sealing them with wax instead.  I've added pictures of our first mock-up.

Programs

Picture
Here are our programs.  My mom has taken on this project for me, but we worked on the design together when I was home in Feb.  We got the basic design from DIY Bride and then added some of the extra elements.  The programs will be placed on every-other chair at the ceremony.  We included information about the wedding party and a thank you and remembrance at the back.

Menu

My mom created these, using the same paper as the invites and programs.  We will have the menus wrapped in the napkins on the plates at the dinner tables.

Banquet Invitations

We ordered these on vistaprint for our Chinese Banquet in the Bay Area.  It will be held a month after the wedding for friends and family who couldn't make it to the Wisconsin wedding.
